Locally Owned and Experienced

Central Districts Surveys Limited (CD Surveys) is owned and operated by Stephen Oldfield and David Smeaton who are both Licensed Cadastral Surveyors with a comprehensive skill set within the surveying industry.

As a surveying company we undertake work for private land owners, developers, Local Authorities, contractors, engineers and other land-based professionals.

We offer surveying services to undertake subdivision and boundary adjustments, topographical and site surveys, boundary identification surveys, building and construction set-out surveys, easement surveys, as built and GIS surveys, aerial surveys and more.

Stephen Oldfeild

BSurv (Otago), Licensed Cadastral Surveyor

Director

Stephen Oldfield has at least 25 years surveying experience in the surveying industry throughout New Zealand and Australia, working in private practice for engineering and surveying consultancies and for local authorities. For the last 10 years Stephen has dedicated his surveying skills to the building of a Feilding based surveying company, Central Districts Surveys Limited.

Stephen enjoys working with clients within the various disciplines of land surveying, land development, infrastructure and construction. Stephen uses modern technology but is still willing to use a steel band or plumb bob to check measurements where need be.
Stephen is married to Amanda with four children and committed to the local community. Time with the family is spent doing life together and where the chance allows holidays and other life experiences.

Being a born-again Christian Stephen enjoys time in the Bible and other spiritual disciplines.
